Essential duties and responsibilities:

  • In-vitro and in-vivo evaluation of viral and bacterial adjuvant vaccines
  • Develop and conduct assays (e.g., ELISA, Luminex, ELISpot) for quantitative analysis of biomarkers
  • Design and execute a wide variety of experiments
  • Collect and analyze data
  • Prepare technical reports, summaries, and protocols
  • Present scientific data both internally and externally
  • Maintain records and clean lab environment to comply with standard operating procedures

Qualifications and key competencies:

  • BS or MS in Molecular Biology, Immunology, Biochemistry, or related discipline
  • Three or more years of relevant work experience
  • Expertise in molecular biology and biochemistry techniques, including recombinant and native protein purification
  • Experience with the evaluation of immune responses
  • Experience in chromatography (HPLC, FPLC), Western blot, immunoassays, mammalian cell culture, and cell-based bioassays
  • Some experience with animal modeling preferred, particularly in vaccine development and mucosal immunology
  • Strong analytical and organizational skills
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills and a strong ability to effectively communicate (oral and written)
