Research Associate—Vaccine Research and Development

We are seeking a full-time research associate who will contribute their expertise to the research and development of our novel adjuvant technology. This is an exceptional career opportunity for a highly motivated individual to play an integral role in the advancement of our vaccine research.
Essential duties and responsibilities:

  • In vitro and in vivo evaluation of viral and bacterial adjuvant vaccines
  • Develop and conduct assays (e.g., ELISA, Luminex, ELISpot) for quantitative analysis of biomarkers
  • Design and execute a wide variety of experiments
  • Collect and analyze data
  • Prepare technical reports, summaries, and protocols
  • Present scientific data both internally and externally
  • Maintain records and clean lab environment to comply with requirements and standard operating procedures

Qualifications and key competencies:

  • BS or MS in Molecular Biology, Immunology, Biochemistry techniques, or relevant discipline
  • Three or more years of related work experience
  • Expertise in molecular immunological and biochemistry techniques, including recombinant and native protein purification
  • Experience with the evaluation of immune responses
  • Experience in chromatography (HPLC, FPLC), Western blot, immunoassays, mammalian cell culture, and cell-based bioassays
  • Some experience with animal modeling preferred, particularly in vaccine development and mucosal immunology
  • Strong analytical and organizational skills
  • Ability to effectively interact and collaborate with peers
  • Experience working independently in a fast-paced environment
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills and a strong ability to effectively communicate (oral and written)
